ONLINE GAMBLING RULES

Blackjack

One of our most prominent online gambling games, Blackjack, originates from France and is one the most popular casino games in the world. The online gambling rules for play in the online casino are much the same as the gambling in a brick and mortar casino. The main objective is to get as close to 21 without going over while still beating the dealer's hand. This is done by counting up the value of the cards in your hand. There is a 6 deck shoe in our online Blackjack game. All cards numbered 2 through 10 are at face value. All face cards are valued at 10 while an ace is valued at either 1 or 11 at the player's discretion. Hands containing an ace valued at 11 are considered to be "soft" hands (i.e. A, 6 is a soft 17), while hands containing an ace valued at 1 are considered "hard" hands (i.e. A, 6, Q is a hard 17). A Blackjack hand is an ace and card valued at 10 (10, J, Q, K). In online gambling and any casino, a two-card Blackjack always beats three or more cards, which equal 21.Before receiving any cards the player must place a wager. Once the wager is made the player is dealt 2 cards face up. The dealer is also dealt two cards, one face up and the other face down. The dealer's "hole" card remains face down until the players have completed their hands. At this point the dealer turns over his hole card. If his hand totals a hard 17 through 21 he must stand. If his hand is 16 or under, the dealer must continue to take cards until either his hand is over 16 or "bust" (which means over 21). The dealer must hit on a soft 16.

Hit
This deals the player another card. If your 2 cards total 10 or less, you have nothing to lose by requesting another card since your total could not exceed 21.

Stand
This means that the player is satisfied with his hand and does not want to risk another card.

Double Down
A player, after being dealt his first two cards, is always given the option to double the initial wager. Once you have chosen to do this, click the "DOUBLE" button and you will be dealt a third card and no more. Your hand will only consist of 3 cards.

Splitting
If you are dealt two cards with identical value you can then split them (i.e. 8,8 or 10,Q). You would now be playing 2 separate hands, each starting with one of the two split cards. You will now be dealt a second card to one of the hands. After this hand is played out, the second hand will be dealt a second card and continued until that hand is played out. All regular rules apply to each hand with the ability to double down. You may only split your hand once and a new wager equal to the initial wager will be placed for each split hand. A split hand Blackjack pays out at 1:1 rather the normal 3:2.

Insurance
If the dealer's first card is an Ace, there is a possibility that he may have a Blackjack. The player can, if he believes the dealer's hidden card is a 10, insure himself against Blackjack. If you choose to insure yourself you have to pay an amount of half of your stake. If the dealer gets Blackjack, the insurance will pay 2:1 which corresponds to your original stake. If you have insured yourself and the dealer does not get Black Jack then you lose your insurance. Your ordinary stake is settled by whatever the dealer gets. Therefore, insurance is to be considered a game of its own within Blackjack, and it gives the player a chance to protect himself, when he thinks that the dealer will get Blackjack.

Payoffs
Players win their wager if their total hand is higher than the dealer's without going over 21. If the player busts, then the dealer wins the hand before turning over a card. All hands that total less than the dealer's hand lose. Hands that are equal in value will be considered a tie, or a "push", and the player's original wager will leave the table. If the player gets a Blackjack the payout will be at 3:2 rather than 1:1

Craps

To many people, Craps is their favorite online casino game. It is fast, exciting and wild. It appears to be complicated at first but in actuality is it very simple. On the first roll (the come out roll), the shooter is trying to establish a point with one of the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9,10. If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 the wager is paid off at even money. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12 then the wager is lost. If the shooter rolls a point number, then it progresses to the next stage where the shooter has to roll the same number again before it hits 7.
There are several types of bets which can be placed on the craps table:

The Pass Bet
This is a bet that the shooter will throw a 7 or 11 on the come out roll or, alternatively, that the shooter will make the point.

The Don't Pass Bet
This is the opposite of the Pass Bet. This bet is placed against the shooter and wins if craps (2,3 or 12) is thrown on the come out roll or if the shooter fails to make the point. If a 12 is thrown, the bet ties.

The Come Bet
This bet is similar to the Pass Bet but need not be made on the come out roll. (It is really available to allow players just joining the table to take part in the action immediately, instead of having to wait for the shooter to make or miss the point!)

The Don't Come Bet
Again, this bet is similar to the Don't Pass Bet, but need not be made on the come out roll.

Odds Bet
This is an additional bet made on a Pass, Don't Pass, Come or Don't Come bet that has already been placed. Odds bets can only be made once the point has been established. The advantage of an odds bet is that it is paid out at the correct odds.

Win Bet
This bet can be made on the following numbers: 4,5,6,8,9,10. It is a bet that the relevant number will be thrown BEFORE a 7.

Lose Bet
This bet can be made on the following numbers: 4,5,6,8,9,10. It is a bet that a seven will be thrown BEFORE the relevant number.

Field Bet
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays even money if a 3,4,9,10 or 11 is thrown and 2-1 if a 2 or 12 is thrown.

Hardways Bet
This bet can be made on 4,6,8 or 10. It is a bet that the relevant number will be thrown in its double form BEFORE a 7 AND before that number is thrown in any other combination.

Any Seven: It pays 5 for 1 (4 to 1) if a 7 is made in the next throw.
Any Craps: It pays 8 for 1 (4 to 1) if a 2, 3 or 12 is made in the next throw.
Craps Two: It pays 30 to 1 if a 2 is made in the next throw.
Craps Twelve: It pays 30 to 1 if a 12 is made in the next throw.
Craps Three: It pays 15 to 1 if a 3 is made in the next throw.
Eleven: It pays 15 to 1 if an 11 is made in the next throw.

Horn
This is a single roll bet on any craps (2, 3 or 12) and 11. Odds are paid out accordingly.

Roulette

Roulette consists of a wheel with 38 numbers, these include the numbers 1-36, 0, and 00. After all the bets have been established the wheel is spun and a ball is placed on the outer edge of the wheel. The ball will then drop into one of the numbered pockets once the wheel slows down. The numbers on the wheel alternate pairs of odd numbers with pairs of even numbers and alternate between black and red. The two zeros are green in color and are placed at opposite ends of the wheel. The object of the game is to determine which number or color the ball with ultimately land on.

The table layout is arranged so that the 36 numbers are arranged in 3 columns of 12 numbers each. The numbers are in sequence, and can be either red or black, depending on the number. There are two types of roulette bets: inside bets and outside bets. The 6 inside bets: straight bet, split bet, street bet, corner bet, five number bet, and a line bet. There are three basic outside bets: even-money, column, and dozen bets. You can place as many different types of bets at any time.

There are no limits to the number of wagers placed on each spin.
When betting online the game of Roulette at online casinos, there is a usually a winning number display at the top right of your screen to help you find the previous winning numbers. Baccarat

Baccarat is probably the most lavish and least understood of all casino games. If you've ever been to a land Casino, and taken a stroll by the baccarat pit, you may have glimpsed gorgeous ladies seated about the oversized table, and both players and dealers clad in tuxedos. Perhaps you expected to see James Bond himself sitting in one of the chairs! If you ventured a little closer, you may have seen enormously large bets being placed on the table in this peculiar game where the player makes absolutely zero decisions to determine the outcome! Trying to take all this in at once may have left you feeling perplexed and even a bit intimidated. You may have wondered: "Why would anyone want to play a game where the rules and gameplay are already predetermined?" Or, "What is it about the game that makes the high roller flock to the tables?" Well, these quandaries are just part of the mystique that is baccarat.

History
Believed to originate from Italy around the mid-nineteenth century, Baccarat - also know as Baccarat Punto or Punto Banco, was a spin-off on the French game of 21. The original rules of the game allowed a player to also act as the bank. This version is still found in some European casinos. This option caters exclusively to the high roller, because few players are willing or able to put up the bankroll required to be the house. During the 20th century, Baccarat remained a fixture in most European casinos, and didn't make a strong showing in the United States until the late sixties to early seventies. In this period, Las Vegas was still entangled in a web of bad publicity related to various casino operators skimming profits and other scandals involving the mafia. Back then, the town was still viewed as a haven for outlaws - far from the family friendly international tourist destination the city is today. In an attempt to "class up" the casinos and cater to a broader audience, operators brought in the first baccarat games. They understood that baccarat was a game of style and sophistication, whose roots ran deep in the European gaming culture. They also saw it as an opportunity to bring in more high rollers. Apparently, it worked, as baccarat pits have become a fixture at every modern casino.

The Pit
Baccarat tables are usually found apart from the main casino floor, off in their own section known as a "pit." If you've ever seen one, then you have likely noticed the luxurious appointments that grace these pits, such as plush chairs, fine artwork, and the dealers all wear tuxedos. So why are these pits apart from everything and so lavish? The main reason is because they cater to the high roller. It is not unusual for players to use $1,000.00 markers as betting units. The casino management is interested in making their elite clientele feel comfortable, so you won't find the clamoring sounds of slot machines anywhere near the pit. The other formal touches are pretty much a given. Don't feel intimidated, though. Even the low-roller can play and enjoy baccarat, as long as you understand the rules before you bet - like in any game.

Rules
The object of Baccarat is to hold 2 or 3 cards, which count 9, or as near to 9 as possible. The values of the cards are: face cards and tens are worth zero, aces are 1, and any other card is worth its face value. Units of 10 points are disregarded so that 9+7 count as 6, not 16.
The dealer will deal out cards to both the player and dealer. Depending on the value the initial 2-card hands, a third card may be dealt to either one of the hands. Ultimately the winning hand will be the one closest to 9. When a tie arises, that is considered a push, just like in Blackjack, and the bet is returned to the player. You may also bet on the tie, which is paid off at 8 to 1.

Betting Strategy
You have the choice of betting on either the player's hand or the dealer's hand to win. When playing Baccarat at most online casinos, to place a bet, you simply click on either the "player" or "dealer" area of the table. The only other playing option is the Tie bet, but we strongly recommend against this, mainly because it carries very poor odds. The best bet is for the Banker to win. This bet actually carries a positive expectation for the player, meaning the odds are in favor of the player walking away with more money in the long run. However, the casino is wise to the odds, so a 5% commission is taken on all Banker bets to even the advantage. Just like in sports betting, this commission is called "Vigorish" or "Vig" for short. Even with the 5% house take, the banker bet still offers marginally better odds for the player.
Final Say

Baccarat is a game wholly its own that can be enjoyed by both high and low rollers alike. It provides a relaxing respite from the other games found on the main gaming floor, and offers a sophistication that is akin to the famous casinos of Europe and Monte Carlo. So, the next time you're at your favorite gambling hall, be it online or in Las Vegas, try a few hands of this unique and interesting table game, and you may discover the allure of Baccarat.
